Why would anyone believe that the Ark was moved around in any way different than it is recorded in the Bible? According to Ron Wyatt, he was told by an un-named source that the Israeli powers that be sent in a team of special forces soldiers to 'recover' the Ark and none of them survived. Also that they would be told how to remove it when the Temple was prepared to receive it. All that is known for certain is it resides in the temple in Jerusalem prior to the Second Coming of the Savior. The most believable story concerning the Ark of the Covenant was told by Ron Wyatt as far as I'm concerned.

The Temple Institute knows exactly where the ark is. And, now that they have the four red heifers ashes of previous red heifers and some from from the new red heifers are going to be used in a religious exercise at Passover this year.

I have heard those pilgrimages were a racket. They have nothing to do with Christianity (and they don't)
And modern banking was born by the way. Many people would give everything they have to the bank and make the journey and take their money back out, if they survived the journey and many of them did not.
